ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented and organized Photo Retoucher to join our Creative team. The Photo Retoucher role is a perfect blend of amplifying our brand image through creative editing, and project management skills to ensure projects stay on track and organized. If you're passionate about amazing editing and organizational excellence, this could be the role for you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Retouching assets from photographers, ensuring accurate representation of products using a variety of techniques: image cleanup and adjustments, clipping paths, color correction, sizing, and output.
  • Work closely with photographer + senior retoucher to create imagery that accurately represents the product and maintains current quality standards that help define Shinola's brand image as well as a seamless workflow from approved asset handoff to final image delivery.
  • Participate in image reviews, follow approval processes with deliverables from upper management, and meet all internal deadlines.
  • Prioritize projects within retouching queue, translating requests into actionable tasks and helping schedule them out appropriately.
  • Organize and maintain a user-friendly Creative server + DAM system (Canto) and disperse final assets to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute projects quickly and efficiently.

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, Helicon Focus, Microsoft Suite, Canto, Figma, Asana, and Capture One Pro.
  • Utilization of AI when applicable.
  • Basic camera and lighting knowledge.
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
