Position Overview
The VTIS Operator is a critical production role responsible for operating and monitoring multiple processing systems, batching and mixing product, and maintaining accurate documentation. This position ensures all production meets company quality standards, GMPs, and State/Federal regulations while maintaining product sterility, safety, and efficiency.
What You'll Do
  • Operate VTIS processing systems (Systems 1-4 and Stork) according to SOPs and manufacturer standards
  • Batch and mix products to exact specifications using batch sheets and formulations
  • Monitor temperatures, pressures, and critical control parameters; take corrective action when needed
  • Perform product testing (Brix, pH, CEM, taste) and accurately document results
  • Complete all production logs, charts, and state-required documentation in real time
  • Perform CIP (clean-in-place) sanitation on tanks, lines, silos, and equipment
  • Maintain sterile processing conditions and conduct required inspection checks
  • Follow and support food safety, GMP, allergen, and CCP procedures
  • Calculate ingredient percentages and adjust formulations as required
  • Ensure FIFO material usage and proper inventory documentation
  • Support equipment maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Keep work area clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards
  • Maintain forklift certification and safely handle materials
