Within Diagnostic Laboratory Services, the Phlebotomist supports high-quality diagnostic care by performing accurate specimen collection and ensuring integrity throughout the testing process.

The Phlebotomist plays a critical role in patient interactions, safety compliance, and laboratory workflow efficiency. Success in the Phlebotomist role requires strong procedural expertise, attention to detail, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, making the Phlebotomist vital to daily clinical operations. The ideal candidate has outpatient and inpatient phlebotomy experience, certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP), and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
