Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a cardiac catheterization lab performing LHC, RHC, peripheral, structural heart, and EP procedures.

Details
  • Works in a cardiac catheterization lab (CVT unit) on the 2nd floor of an acute care hospital
  • 13-bed unit staffed by RNs and CVTs
  • Patient ratio of 1:3
  • Procedures include left and right heart catheterization (LHC/RHC), peripheral vascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology (EP)
  • Equipment includes Philips and GE systems
  • Documentation systems: Meditech and Mac Lab
  • Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM or until all cases are completed
  • After-hours, weekend, and major holiday call required
Requirements
  • ARRT, CRT, RCIS, or RCES certification required
  • ACLS and BLS optional
  • Minimum 6 months of cath lab experience within the last 6 months required
  • Active certifications are required — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start
  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • Two professional references required (Florida state requirement)
  • License required if applicable
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates will be considered
Additional Information
  • Scrubs are provided by the facility
  • Must be flexible and able to function independently
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
