Clinical Consultant, OB Solutions

The OB Clinical Consultant provides expert clinical guidance and education to ensure successful adoption, integration, and utilization of Philips' obstetric solutions, improving workflow efficiency and patient safety across labor and delivery environments.

Your role:

  • Adapt and deploy Philips' obstetric clinical applications to meet diverse customer specifications and operational complexities, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance in healthcare settings.
  • Serve as a trusted clinical advisor to customers by delivering expert guidance, product demonstrations, and education that support safe and effective use of Philips OB solutions.
  • Analyze complex obstetric clinical workflows and operational procedures to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements that enhance clinical and operational outcomes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards, quality requirements, and internal protocols throughout all stages of clinical application deployment to safeguard patient safety.
  • Grow professionally through advanced clinical training, cross-functional collaboration, and field-based engagement with customers in assigned zone with the possibility of supporting customers nationally.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've acquired 3+ years of clinical experience in Obstetrics, Labor & Delivery, Women's Health, or a related healthcare setting (individual contributor).
  • Your skills include clinical workflow analysis, application implementation, customer education, regulatory compliance, and clinical problem-solving (experience with fetal or maternal monitoring technologies preferred).
  • You have a Bachelor's degree, required in a clinical or healthcare-related field (Registered Nurse, Certified Nurse Midwife, or equivalent clinical background strongly preferred).
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.
  • You're a clear communicator and clinical influencer with strong interpersonal skills and the flexibility to travel as needed to support customer implementations and training. Must be able to travel 75% of the time.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $159,000 to $173,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.

Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.
