Job description

Overview
Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision and accurately assists in the processing, filling and shipping of medication orders.
Job Summary: Assist technicians and various support staff in the order fulfillment process. Assist in inventory control and station replenishment.
Responsibilities
Job Duties:
  • Pull drugs and match NDC to prescription labels when filling prescriptions
  • Check and inspect incoming medication orders for accuracy
  • Responsible to assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of each work station and the facility
  • Responsible for the proper and accurate filling of each individual order
  • Contacts customers on outgoing express shipments and address verification
  • Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor
  • Responsible to maintain quality assurances of all dispensings
  • Assist other areas of the pharmacy as needed daily
  • May assist in orienting and training new employees
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Attendance Requirements:
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
  • Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts

Educational Requirements:
  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field

Experience:
  • Preferred hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred

Special Conditions of Employment:
  • Drug test
  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
  • Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Compensation:
$15.00 - $15.46 an hour
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
