How you’ll make an impact in this role

Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.


Responsibilities:

  • Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
  • Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
  • Repackage bulk medications.
  • Receive and store incoming supplies.
  • Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

One or more of the following required:

  • In Training Pharmacy Tech obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Pharmacy Intern obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.


One or more of the following preferred:

  • Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association.


Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience,
      if applicable.
