Pharmacist – Distribution (Western Montérégie) Employment conditions: Willing to work in the area mentioned and ideally owns a means of transport. Ability to work in various settings: hospital (CH), community pharmacy, private establishment, medical clinic, rehabilitation center or other health facility. Location: Quebec, Canada (home and partner establishments). Full-time or part-time – Variable shift (day, evening, weekend or on call depending on assignments and availability). Salary: Up to $90/contract plus other benefits (bonuses, transportation reimbursement, accommodation for certain contracts, continuing education plan, etc.). Job description: Asicc-Med is looking for **Pharmacists – Distribution** to ensure the validation, preparation, distribution and safe monitoring of pharmacotherapy within partner institutions. Under the authority of the head of the pharmacy department or the responsible manager, the incumbent ensures the application of professional and regulatory standards regarding medication distribution. They collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacy technicians, and other professionals to ensure the optimal, safe, and effective use of medications. Main responsibilities: Analyze, validate and execute medical prescriptions in accordance with professional standards. Verify the accuracy of prescriptions and ensure compliance with medication distribution guidelines. Supervise the activities of pharmacy technicians. Ensure the safe management of medications, including narcotics and controlled substances. Responding to pharmacological information requests from clinical teams. Identify, prevent and resolve problems related to pharmacotherapy. Participate in the management of stock shortages and supplies. Assist in the preparation of sterile and non-sterile medications when required. Participate in quality assurance, risk management and continuous improvement activities. Document pharmaceutical interventions in accordance with current policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with safety, confidentiality and professional ethics standards. Contribute to the training and supervision of staff when required. Requirements: First-cycle doctorate in pharmacy (Pharm.
