Job description

Responsibilities
  • Lead the composition, development, and execution of category strategies across CMO External Manufacturing, Drug Substance, and Drug Product.
  • Translate category strategies into achievable sourcing projects delivering value to Regeneron and patients.
  • Partner with Direct Procurement Leadership and IOPS stakeholders to evolve strategies as the pipeline grows.
  • Build and manage a global CMO procurement team, developing talent and driving process excellence.
  • Collaborate across Global Procurement to manage cross-category suppliers and execute a best-in-class partner management program.
  • Implement technology solutions to drive value through efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a role-model leader, creating clarity, vision, transparency, and trust.
  • Influence senior executives and peer functions to drive strategic change and efficiency across CMO and External Manufacturing categories.
Qualifications
  • Director level: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 12+ years of progressive procurement experience, preferably in Pharma/BioPharma.
  • In-depth knowledge of CMOs and External Manufacturing, Raw Materials, or Packaging Technologies in pharmaceutical procurement categories.
  • Proven success leading global category teams, processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories.
Preferred (nice-to-have)
  • Working knowledge of sourcing and contracting tools, ERPs, and eRFx systems (e.g., Oracle, Zycus, Ariba).
Location/Work model

Rensselaer, NY; On-site (Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm).
