PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Grand Prairie TX 75050 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $66+/hr – based on shift
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday
- Evening Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacist will join a fast-paced pharmacy team in Grand Prairie, TX. This position is responsible for dispensing medications, verifying prescriptions, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing patient counseling, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective pharmaceutical care. Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verify, review, and dispense prescription medications accurately
- Perform front-end and back-end pharmacist verification
- Monitor medication therapy, compliance, and potential drug-related issues
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, storage, and drug interactions
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication-related concerns
- Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions when needed
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Maintain appropriate pharmaceutical inventory and medication supplies
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards
- Assist patients with medication management and proper use of medical devices
- Troubleshoot pharmacy technology and workflow issues as needed
PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active Texas Pharmacist License required
- IV certification preferred
- Experience with sterile compounding is required
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
- Strong computer and pharmacy systems knowledge
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
