Job Summary:
Global Pharma Tek is seeking a senior Project Manager to oversee a large-scale technology project for the Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services. The role involves managing project timelines, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
• Clearly define roles and responsibilities, drive constructive and productive participation by all involved.
• Aggressively manage project tasks assuring work progresses according to schedule.
• Collecting requirements from a broad set of users and combining them into a comprehensive statement of requirements.
• Prepare documentation, obtain approval, and track all changes in project scope.
• Communicate project changes and events to stakeholders and senior management.
• Setting project goals and developing plans to meet those goals
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Manage multiple associated projects throughout the project lifetime to ensure success as defined by adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
• Conduct regular project meetings and ensure comprehensive documentation of project progress and outcomes.
• Provides timely status reports to reflect project status, issues, and risks.
• Proactive identification of risks and impacts, and collaboration with customer and project team to address concerns.
• The position consults with the project team on all aspects of project management and ensures compliance with Commonwealth project management policies, standards, and guidelines.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Successful experience as PM on one or more large IT project(s) with a Commonwealth agency/agencies is highly desired, and references are required.
• Candidates with Commonwealth IT project experience will be considered first.
• Active PMP or Customer PMD cert required
