Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position requiring candidates to work on-site at least 2 days per week at our office in Mississauga. The remaining days may be worked remotely, subject to team and business needs.

About the Role (Job Summary):

The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for enhancing the performance of McKesson Specialty Health by leading the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. This role is focused on identifying operational inefficiencies, developing and executing effective solutions, including those enabled by lowcode automation and applied AI, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. The position plays a critical role in driving productivity, minimizing waste, and improving quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

Additionally, the Continuous Improvement Manager will support the long-term sustainability of operational excellence by providing training, mentorship, and hands-on guidance across the organization, developing and executing effective solutions, including those enabled by lowcode automation and applied AI, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
  • Lead end-to-end continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives across business functions

  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement Lean Six Sigma solutions to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase productivity

  • Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving workshops

  • Leverage Lean tools (5S, visual management, standard work) to drive sustainable process improvements

  • Analyze operational data and KPIs to measure performance and quantify ROI of improvement initiatives

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize, scope, and deliver high-impact projects

  • Champion process automation opportunities using tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, and AI-based solutions

  • Build and maintain standardized processes, documentation, and best practices

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members while mentoring others on continuous improvement methodologies

  • Act as a change leader to drive adoption of new processes and foster a culture of operational excellence

Basic Requirements (Minimum Education & Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • 7+ years of professional experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process improvement roles

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and delivering measurable business impact

  • Strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and process re-engineering methodologies

  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and executive communication skills

  • Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed organization

Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Experience in healthcare, pharma, or specialty health environments

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification

  • Project or program management certifications (PMP, Agile, or equivalent)

  • Handson experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, and familiarity with Dataverse, SharePoint, Forms, and Power BI

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, SQL)

  • Experience scaling continuous improvement programs enterprise-wide
