Description
Position Summary:
Legend DDD Services is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Group Home Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple traditional group homes. As a vital part of our leadership team, you'll ensure high-quality care, staff performance, and compliance with DDD and agency regulations. This is a safety-sensitive position reporting to the Traditional/DTA Operations Manager and Assistant Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Resident Care & Oversight
  • Prepare for and attend ISP meetings as needed
  • Maintain communication with family, guardians, and support coordinators
  • Conduct weekly audits and maintain complete resident files
  • Monitor and ensure cleanliness and readiness of personal equipment
  • Provide transportation and support for appointments and outings
Medical Responsibilities
  • Monitor residents' health and report changes to leadership
  • Oversee and coordinate medical appointments and follow-up
  • Ensure accurate and timely MARs and medication tracking
  • Complete PCSP goals and documentation
  • Ensure all medical documentation is updated and compliant
Staff Management
  • Create and manage staffing schedules
  • Ensure appropriate staff-to-client ratios
  • Train, support, and supervise DSPs and group home staff
  • Enforce compliance with certifications: Article 9, CPR/1st Aid, Prevention & Support, Fingerprint Clearance
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and attend management training sessions
Facility & Budget Management
  • Perform weekly walkthroughs to ensure survey readiness
  • Oversee grocery shopping, petty cash, and client funds
  • Manage upkeep of group home vehicles (maintenance, registration, safety checks)
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of management experience (group home experience preferred)
  • Ability to work flexible hours and locations
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Must obtain within 90 days of hire (if not already certified):
    • Article 9
    • Prevention and Support
    • CPR/1st Aid
    • Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
