Pet Screening involves evaluating tenants or pet owners through background checks and assessments, primarily used by property managers and rental agencies. While both roles involve working with animals, Pet Screening focuses on the vetting process, whereas Pet Sitter emphasizes hands-on pet care services.

These roles typically require specialized education, certifications, and experience in animal health or behavior. Salaries vary based on location, expertise, and work setting.

How can I work with animals but not be a vet?

Pet screening roles often involve evaluating and ensuring the suitability of potential pet owners or tenants, but working directly with animals in other capacities includes positions like pet groomer, trainer, kennel staff, pet sitter, or animal care technician.
