Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00 Hourly- Position is located in office in Phoenix, AZ. 
 
 
Qualifications: What you need to bring
  • 1+ year experience in customer service or similar area required.
  • Experience in transportation industry preferred.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail orientated.
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
  • Must be a quick learner.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Under supervision, conduct background checks related to potential situations of employee misconduct. Gather information and relevant facts related to misconduct reports and record findings, and perform additional research as needed.

  • Conduct in-depth research into the personal and professional history of driver applicants.
  • Verify educational credentials, employment history, credit history and personal references as directed.
  • Check for any criminal history, arrests, convictions, or pending charges to ensure that the individual does not pose a risk to the workplace or company.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interviews and ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Make recommendations regarding new hires when requested.
  • Provide appropriate responses to all incoming callers.
  • Work with other security units and/or designated department personnel as needed.
  • Analyze records that result from background investigations.
  • Monitor request systems weekly for new orders and follow up on older orders.
  • Develop an understanding of applicable regulatory and legislative requirements as they pertain to background screening to ensure company compliance.
  • Represents company in a confidential, ethical and professional manner in all interactions.
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
