Personnel Security Specialist
LOCATION: Washington, DC
POSITION TYPE: Onsite

Summary:

The Personnel Security Specialist performs personnel security case management functions in Washington, DC. This position is responsible for assembling personnel security case files, conducting case analysis, and recommending cases for final adjudication. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four (4) years of personnel security experience. DHS experience is preferred.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of four (4) years of personnel security experience.

  • Experience in personnel security case management, including assembling and reviewing case files.

  • Ability to recommend cases for final adjudication in compliance with federal guidelines and regulations.

  • Strong knowledge of personnel security protocols and security clearance processes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • DHS experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with federal personnel security standards and adjudication processes.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex security issues.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Base Salary Range: $50,000 – $100,000 / year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and structural alignment. Individual pay is influenced by several factors, including the candidate's work location, relevant experience, skillset, and contract constraints.
