Position Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Personal Training Manager (APTM) who supports a high-performance, high-care culture that operates with speed and urgency in delivering results through member integration, programming, and development.
What You'll Do:
As the Assistant Personal Training Manager, you will support the Personal Training Manager in leading the team, with a focus on staff development, training, client generation, and scheduling. You will also maintain a personal training client roster. Additionally, you'll ensure accurate administration of all personal training services, including client programming, progress tracking, and the management of the dotFIT program and supplement sales

  • Consistently meets club goals by driving new client acquisition, client retention, supplement recommendations, and personal training sales through the CrunchOne Kickoff experience and team coaching
  • Upholds high standards in all personal training services, including client records, dotFIT programming, progress tracking, and supplement sales, while providing consistent, high-quality team & member support

Responsibilities:
APTM Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and fitness expertise of all PT team members
  • Meet both new client acquisition and existing client retention targets for the club
  • Administer the CrunchOne Kickoff experience through demonstrating, coaching, and guiding with the goal of acquiring personal training clients
  • Ability to drive Crunch One Kickoff appointments and achieve weekly and monthly new client targets
  • Counsel and guide members using the 4 Pillars of Fitness - Nutrition, Movement, Supplementation and Coaching and Accountability, in a manner consistent with their goals
  • Ensure accurate administration of PT services including, but not limited to; dotFIT program and supplements, client programming, and progress tracking
  • Isolate, align, and direct resources informed by KPIs & organizational priorities with PTM assistance
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to all member inquiries within 24 hours
  • Report to the Managing Partner and Personal Training Manager on key results and action plans
  • Attend all required meetings/trainings for PT staff

PT Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive fitness programs based on client goals and milestones, to include tracking progress, follow up, and on-going support
  • Inform members of all fitness tools and programs available to assist in achieving goals
  • Demonstrate safe and proper exercise techniques to clients and all members of facility
  • Assist in member service activities, such as fitness seminars, boot camps, body fat tables
  • Design comprehensive fitness programs using company-provided tools (i.e. dotFIT)
  • Schedule all personal training sessions, appointments, and administration time using company systems
  • Execution on Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Personal Trainer Business Plan
  • Meet minimum company expectations, to include session service targets, Personal Training revenue, supplement/nutritional sales, and overall contributions to club success

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of personal training experience required
  • CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Prior management experience leading a team of 3-10 employees preferred
  • Experience executing plans and managing KPIs required
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity and judgment that inspires trust
  • Must have basic understanding of fitness industry, market and key business drivers

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift or move 50 lbs
  • Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking

  • High school diploma or GED required
