Job description

Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney (Hybrid – Rockville, MD)

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented law firm seeking a Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join its team in a hybrid capacity. This role is ideal for an attorney who brings a small but active book of business and is looking to plug into a collaborative, trial-ready environment with strong operational support.

This firm represents individuals who have suffered serious injuries due to negligence and is known for hands-on client advocacy, trial preparedness, and consistent results. Cases are handled with the expectation they may go to trial, ensuring maximum value for clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a docket of plaintiff-side personal injury cases from intake through resolution
  • Handle matters including:
  • Motor vehicle accidents
  • Premises liability / slip-and-fall
  • Construction and catastrophic injury cases
  • Conduct case strategy, discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations
  • Prepare cases for trial, collaborating with senior attorneys as needed
  • Maintain direct, high-touch client relationships and guide clients through the legal process
  • Leverage and grow an existing book of business

What You Bring

  • 3–10+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience
  • Active license in Maryland (or ability to waive in)
  • Experience managing cases independently
  • A portable book of business (even modest—this is not a pure origination role)
  • Trial experience or strong desire to get into the courtroom
  • Ability to evaluate case value and develop strategy toward fair compensation outcomes
