The Role
SecturaSOFT is looking for a highly motivated and financially minded individual for a Senior Accounting Manager position. The individual will be responsible for all our accounting operations. This position will help scale our processes in a growing environment. The role will report directly to Vice President.
What You'll Do
  • Manage the month end close process
  • Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements ensuring accuracy and completeness in compliance with GAAP.
  • Perform technical accounting research. Prepare memos and facilitate discussion with leadership
  • Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis
  • Identify, resolve variances and provide analysis of financial results
  • Oversee all key accounting operations and compliance functions
  • Support the audit process, including preparation of materials for the financial statement audit, statutory audits and coordination with the external audit team.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to accelerate the close and reporting timelines; automate manual procedures and computations.
  • Build a strong team through recruiting, staffing, professional development, mentorship, and/or corrective action as needed.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Who You Are
  • BS in Accounting. CPA - preferred
  • 6+ years of relevant accounting experience. Big 4 preferred. SaaS or Technology industry preferred
  • Deep experience with interpreting and applying GAAP to business transactions, including knowledge of ASC 606
  • Experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting and monthly closing.
  • Experience with ERP systems; Netsuite a plus
  • Experience in managing a team of professionals
  • Excellent communication skills: proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners at various levels in a clear and concise manner
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem solving
  • Ability to meet tight timelines; able to manage multiple priorities
  • Proven proficiency of Microsoft Office. Experience with PowerBI is preferred
  • Strong systems orientation with a desire to drive process automation, using financial systems and tools
