Job description

Herschensohn Law, PLLC is a Plaintiff personal injury law firm. We are seeking a Managing Attorney to work in our Kent, WA office. The Managing Attorney will lead and supervise the paralegals, legal assistants, and intake staff on the pre-litigation side of the firm to ensure efficient case handling and exceptional client service; manage and oversee cases from initial intake through pre-litigation settlement; analyze cases to address liability and coverage issues; review and edit demand packages; communicate with clients regarding legal strategy and negotiations; negotiate settlements; oversee the settlement process; approve settlement statements; coordinate with litigation team to ensure a smooth handoff on cases proceeding to litigation; oversee the maintenance, development, and implementation of operational systems, workflows, and case management procedures to support scalable growth; and assist with overall management of the firm.

To be successful in this position, the candidate must have at least 2-3 years of experience, ideally in personal injury law, the ability to multitask, strong attention to detail, good time management skills, strong writing skills, and the ability to work well with clients and colleagues.

The candidate must be a licensed Washington attorney in good standing.

This is a full-time, in-office position at our Kent, WA office from 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. Starting salary is based on years of experience, with salary range of $125,000-$180,000 per year plus bonuses. Annual bonuses will be based on the fee generation of the pre-litigation team. We offer a robust benefits package with health, vision, and dental insurance, a generous 401(k) and 401(k) match, an employee assistance program, and paid vacation and sick time.
