Job description

Diversified Life Care Partners is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support clients in their homes and communities throughout Southern Indiana.

We are building a team of 3–4 part-time staff who can work consistent, routine schedules to provide reliable coverage for our clients.


Schedule Needs

We are hiring for coverage across the following shifts:

  • Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (7 days/week coverage needed)
  • Evening Shift: Approximately 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Part-time positions available with consistent weekly schedules. Ideal for candidates who can commit to set days/times.


Position Summary

The Personal Care Assistant provides hands-on support to elderly individuals, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. Services are delivered in client homes or care settings and focus on personal care, daily living assistance, and companionship.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care needs (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care)
  • Support mobility and transfers (including use of assistive devices)
  • Provide incontinence care and feeding assistance as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, cleaning, meal prep)
  • Monitor and report changes in client condition
  • Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring (as directed)
  • Provide transportation to appointments or errands (if applicable)
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Follow individualized care plans and company policies
  • Maintain confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in caregiving, personal care, or healthcare preferred
  • Strong communication and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and follow care plans
  • Basic computer/phone skills for documentation
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Physical Requirements
