Job Title: Personal Assistant
Location: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 5 - Ralph H. Metcalfe Building, 77 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL
Hours: Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (40 hrs/week)
Key Duties:
  • Provide personal assistance services to employees with targeted disabilities, supporting activities of daily living (e.g., dressing, eating, restroom assistance, mobility support).
  • Escort employee to/from building entrances, through security checkpoints, elevators, and various work locations.
  • Carry and set up work materials, assist with meals, and perform light office/administrative duties as needed.
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct in all EPA office and public settings.

Qualifications:
  • Experience providing personal assistance services or similar support in a professional setting preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical assistance tasks (mobility support, carrying items, helping with clothing, meal assistance).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Professional demeanor with ability to work in office and public environments.
