A. Agent - Personal/ Commercial Lines

Qualifications

Hold the Property and Casualty Insurance License required by Texas

Responsibilities:

1. Sales are a primary responsibility for an agent,

  • As an agent, you will play a crucial role in driving our company’s growth by leveraging their expertise and client relationships in the commercial insurance sector.

§ Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.

§ Generate and Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations and close sales.

§ Take the opportunity to cross and up-sell

  • Proactively develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

§ Assist other account managers or other team members when needed

  • Identify and target potential new clients, utilizing a deep understanding of commercial insurance market and competitive strategies
  • Present, promote, and sell commercial insurance policies using well-developed persuasion and understanding of client needs
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Analyze clients’ insurance needs and financial status to propose protection plans that meet their requirements
  • Negotiate policy terms and conditions with clients and insurance providers
  • Stay up to date with new products and enhancements in the insurance industry
  • Provide detailed reports on sales activities, performance, and market analysis
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to facilitate risk selection and policy issuance
  • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Market and develop rapport with business owners and/or those oversee the insurances for the company.

§ Get involved with associations, chambers and other networking organizations.

Salary

Base salary $40,000 to $55,000 annually (Exempted Employee); depend on experience

Reimbursement for business mileage

Bonus based on performance
