Overview
Rooter Hero Plumbing & Air is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Permit Coordinator to join our Concord team. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between field operations and local municipal offices, ensuring all projects are properly permitted and ready for execution.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys navigating administrative processes, solving logistical challenges, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a critical role in keeping projects on track while contributing to a growing and stable organization.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of permit applications from submission to approval
  • Coordinate with city building departments and municipal offices
  • Ensure installation teams have all required permits and documentation
  • Maintain accurate digital records of all permits and filings
  • Develop knowledge of local Bay Area permitting requirements to reduce turnaround time
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clerks and permit office staff
  • Support scheduling and project tracking using internal tools
  • Perform occasional field errands to local offices as needed

Requirements
Must Have:
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or high-volume administrative roles
