Job description

A healthcare facility in Show Low, AZ is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to provide coverage during a maternity leave. This role offers the opportunity to support patient care within a 100-bed nonprofit hospital using advanced pharmacy systems.
Ideal candidates will hold an active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license and have prior inpatient pharmacy experience. Flexibility with scheduling is essential to meet the operational needs of the department.
Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing in an inpatient setting
  • Operating Allscripts and Omnicell pharmacy systems for order entry and inventory management
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Collaborating with healthcare team members to optimize patient medication therapy
Qualifications:
  • Active AZ Pharmacy Technician license
  • Previous inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
