Job description

CT Technologist

Performs a variety of CT scan procedures, invasive and non-invasive on a variety of patients. In doing so, the technologist is required to utilize sterile technique if necessary, operate complex radiographic equipment and assist physicians as needed. The technologist is responsible for the manipulation of computer data and images for interpretation, and reproducing them on film for permanent storage, and/or utilization of a networking system. This position will function without constant supervision. Independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative are essential. Responsibility for designated areas and procedures is assumed.

Qualifications you will need:

  • Required Education: Graduate of JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.
  • Required License: Must be ARRT registered in Computed Tomography. Completes requirements for CEU for re-certification. BLS certified.
  • Required Experience: Two years previous experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department.
  • Preferred Experience: Two years previous computed tomography experience.
