Job description

Summary of Position The Document Preparation Technician, under general supervision, will prep and perform a quality check of hard copy records. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Process and prepare a high volume of hard copy records for scanning, ensuring all documents are correctly sorted and prepped for efficient conversion.
  • This can include classifying easily recognizable documents, orienting pages, repairing and removing objects such as staples and paper clips from documents.
  • Removes various format documents and folders from boxed content and prepares them by unfolding corners, taping down small pieces of paper onto larger sheets. Placing patches or bar code separators in between records for scanning.
Performs quality review of the prepared records prior to handing them off to scanning technician to ensure accuracy and completeness of the paper files. Ability to consistently maintain production quotas while sustaining high levels of quality.
  • Follows the security and privacy policies, standards and guidelines to protect the informational assets of both the company and their customers.
Other duties as specified by your Lead/Supervisor. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Highly detailed oriented with great attention to quality output and adherence to a production quota.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a focused pace to meet production rates and quality targets.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Flexibility to work overtime (OT) or weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Must have US Citizenship or be a Lawful Permanent Resident
  • Must have registered with the Selective Service (Males only)
  • Must be Federal Tax Compliant
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance Schedule:
