AspectPermanent ChipPermanent Technician
CredentialsTypically requires certifications in electronics or computer hardwareRequires technical certifications or associate degrees in electronics or related fields
Work EnvironmentManufacturing facilities, electronics assembly linesRepair shops, manufacturing plants, or maintenance departments
Industry UsageElectronics manufacturing, hardware productionElectronics repair, maintenance, and installation

Permanent Chip and Permanent Technician roles both involve working with electronic components, but Permanent Chips focus on designing and manufacturing integrated circuits, while Permanent Technicians handle repair and maintenance of electronic systems. The roles share similar certifications and work environments, making them closely related but distinct in their primary functions.

Which 3 jobs will survive AI?

Jobs involving complex human interaction, such as permanent chip design and engineering, are likely to survive AI because they require creativity, problem-solving, and specialized technical skills. Roles in healthcare, education, and skilled trades also tend to be more resilient due to the need for empathy, judgment, and manual dexterity. These jobs often require certifications, hands-on work, or nuanced decision-making that AI cannot easily replicate.
