Brief Description:
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our core software platform. This role will be part of a wider development team and will report directly to the Platform Development Lead. The ideal candidate is a quality-focused engineer with strong experience in test automation, modern QA practices, and collaboration within agile development teams.
Detailed Description:
  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for our core platform
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, integration, and performance testing
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and platform engineers to ensure quality is built into every stage of development
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects and work with engineering teams to resolve issues
  • Advocate for best practices in software quality assurance across the organization
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests and quality gates
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a culture of quality

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 7+ years in Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering
  • Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  • Familiarity with API testing (REST, GraphQL) and performance/load testing tools
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to leverage AI-driven testing tools and agentic workflows to enhance automation, coverage, and efficiency

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in QA engineering with a focus on automation
  • Prior experience working in agile development teams and contributing to CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with testing distributed systems or microservices architectures
  • Knowledge of performance engineering and security testing
  • Familiarity with observability tools and monitoring practices
