Job description

Project Details:
The role involves fully back-end development focused on telemetry collection and data integration across six production applications.
Must Have Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in GoLang for coding, design, and application performance.
  • Experience with major public cloud platforms, specifically AWS services like Lambda, EKS, SQS, SNS, and DocumentDB.
  • Intermediate-level experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
  • Experience working with large amounts of data and designing for high performance and scalability.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with Grafana for monitoring and observability.
  • Familiarity with OpenTelemetry.
  • Awareness of Prometheus.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain applications responsible for telemetry collection, focusing on performance optimization and maintenance.
  • Gather and process data from Cisco network hardware and AWS-based applications.
  • Resolve data bottlenecks and integrate SOAM data into ClickHouse for monitoring and analysis.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to transition designs into scalable implementations.
