Job description

Situation, a digital-first agency building passionate communities for live experience-based clients like WICKED on Broadway and The Metropolitan Opera, seeks a Performance Media Supervisor to develop strategic media plans for their assigned accounts. This role will report to the Media Group Director of Planning and is responsible for managing the overall media mix for their clients. The selected candidate will be passionate about digital media, extremely detail-oriented, eager to collaborate and a strong critical thinker.
What You'll Do
This role develops and executes digital and traditional media plans in partnership with our in-house digital and traditional media buying teams. The Media Supervisor serves as a leader on their accounts as a paid media expert. You'll also work with vendors and partners to optimize your media campaigns and spend your clients' media dollars as though they were your own. The ideal candidate will be able to carry out deep, expert analysis of the campaign progress as well as communicate that information into a clear, easy-to-understand report for clients. We're also looking for a budget rockstar, someone who can ensure their campaigns run at their maximum efficiencies.
Our office is located in midtown Manhattan and we are currently working in-office four days per week: Monday through Thursday.
Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Create and manage digital and traditional media plans that meet client objectives and goals, with an emphasis on innovation, efficiency and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with Client Services and Creative team members to ensure we are providing the best possible service to our clients and are meeting KPI goals across digital and traditional media
  • Analyze and evaluate reporting data; compose actionable insights and optimization recommendations
  • Work with the Media Buying team to execute and optimize campaigns, ensuring our dollars are working hard for us
  • Reconcile media vendor billing on a monthly basis
  • Participate in client meetings, such as presenting a new media plan or a recent media performance report
  • Oversee new vendor procurement: regularly scheduling discovery calls with potential partners, identifying account-specific applications, and relaying this information to the team as necessary

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in digital media planning in an ad agency
  • Experience in planning and managing performance media campaigns, optimizing for ecommerce sales
  • A strong working knowledge of the following digital platforms:
    • Programmatic DSP's such as The Trade Desk
    • Paid social platforms such as Meta and TikTok
    • 3rd Party Ad Servers such as Google CM360
    • Previous experience and familiarity with Google Analytics is a bonus
  • Experience with managing campaign budgets across multiple platforms
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides
  • Previous experience in Prisma/Media Ocean is a bonus
