The Performance Improvement Manager will be supporting Maryland Family Care operational programs, will assist in clinical practice standardization across Mercy Personal Physcian sites, monitor key performance indicators across sites, and assist the Director in Performance Improvement work. The Performance Improvement Manager will conduct themselves through the values of Mercy and empower team members to perform at the highest level of licensure ensuring best practice and a culture of high reliability and patient safety.


We are looking for a self motivator that has strong interpersonal and communication skills, Medical Assistant experience, experience in training others, and someone that is naturally inquisitive and forward thinking.ย 


Responsibilities

-Optimize clinical best practice across all sites by developing practice standards for the ambulatory setting and training clinical team members across Mercy Personal Physician sites
-Develop and monitor key performance indicators of clinical team members
-Assess individual clinical team member performance via observations, providing consistent feedback and reassessmentย ย 
-Maintain the General Vaccine and Flu Programs by processing supply requests and submitting invoices on a regular basis
-Maintain consistent communication with sites, suppliers, accounts payable, and leadership regarding the vaccine programย 
-Assist the Director in Performance Improvement work through the lens of lean six sigma methodologies, including but not limited to: time studies, observations, general mistake proofing, etc.


Requirements

Education Requirements:

-Must possess a high school diploma or GED.

-Must possess a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration or Science Degree in Healthcare or related field- 5 years of progressively increasing management experience can replace the education requirement. Masters in Healthcare Administration, preferred.


Minimum Qualifications:

-MA Certification
-Clinical Supervisor Experience minimum 3 years
-Able to travel to all hub sites as needed
-General Knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Strong Interpersonal Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

-Lean Six Sigma Certificationย

Salary Information
Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices.
