Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or technical institute degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years experience with Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
  • 2+ years IIS Administration.
  • 2+ years of network communications, including TCP/IP and DNS Samba/CIFS file sharing and NTFS permissions.
  • 2+ years of strong professional experience in AWS cloud systems.
  • 2+ years of strong professional experience in Microsoft Azure cloud systems.
  • 2+ years of experience with other cloud providers, such as GCP.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in the administration of Microsoft software.
  • 3+ years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in systems operations, support, maintenance, and administration.
  • 3+ years of professional experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in information systems engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and expand client infrastructure.
  • Coordinate server configuration and administration with multiple parties.
  • Make recommendations for future server and software upgrades.
  • Monitor systems and applications to ensure security, availability, and performance.
  • Establish systems by evaluating network performance issues, including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency.
  • Maintain network and systems performance by performing systems monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning.
  • Build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment.
  • Find opportunities to refactor solutions to obtain better performance, cost, and efficiency.
  • Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines.
  • Oversee and configure Azure DevOps organizational settings.
  • Recommend and assist with the building and hosting of complex application solutions.
  • Understand, deploy, and manage AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or other cloud services.
  • Support other IT staff, including developers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
