Job description

Test Vehicle Operator - Autonomous Vehicles
Location: Dallas, TX
Pay: $24-$26 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 30-40 hours per week
Contract: 1 year (extension possible)
About the Role
Join a cutting-edge autonomous vehicle testing program in Dallas.
We're hiring safety-focused drivers to operate self-driving vehicles in real-world conditions and provide feedback that helps improve next-generation vehicle technology.
Shift Information
  • AM Shift (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
  • PM Shift (2:30 PM-1:00 AM)

Please indicate your availability for one of the following schedules:
  • Sunday-Wednesday
  • Thursday-Sunday
  • Saturday-Tuesday

What You'll Do
  • Safely operate autonomous vehicles on public roads
  • Monitor vehicle behaviour and remain alert at all times
  • Perform daily pre-drive vehicle inspections
  • Report system performance, safety issues, and observations
  • Communicate clearly with engineers and operations teams
  • Maintain focus and professionalism during extended driving shifts

What We're Looking For
  • Valid U.S. driver's license held for 3+ years with no gaps between renewals
  • Clean driving record with no points, tickets, or violations
  • Strong understanding of traffic laws and defensive driving
  • Ability to remain focused during 4-8 hour driving shifts
  • Comfortable driving in all traffic and weather conditions
  • Tech-savvy with fast and fast typing skills(40WPM)

Preferred Experience
  • Autonomous vehicle or ADAS experience(not obligatory if you have
  • GPS and navigation tools experience
  • Delivery or app-based driving experience (3+ years preferred)
  • Professional or ride-share driving experience (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc.)
  • Defensive driving certification is a plus
  • Technical or troubleshooting aptitude
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
