Job description

Combat System Capability Development Coordinator

The Opportunity:

Are you ready to lead at the intersection of intelligence and tactical combat capability at the edge of operations? At Booz Allen, we empower you to solve the nation's most complex challenges. We are seeking a Combat Systems Capability Development Coordinator to drive the maturation, integration, and deployment of new capabilities into a cutting edge USN and USCM over the horizon targeting system.

In this role, you will help to drive and lead a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering and integration team. You will serve as the orchestrator exploring emerging and existing technologies across domains and classification levels, bridging sensors and tactical Navy combat networks to deliver unprecedented Over-the-Horizon Targeting (OTH-T) capabilities for Long-Range Fires. This is not just a technical project management role; you will be the primary technical strategist helping to shape the evolution of a certified element of a combat system for long range fires.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience with technical project management, systems engineering, or capability development leadership within the DoD, Intelligence Community, or defense contracting ecosystem

  • Experience with US Navy Surface or Undersea Combat Systems and command architectures, such as Aegis, CANES, GCCS-M, SSDS, or DCGS-N

  • Experience directing or managing software or hardware system-of-systems integration and test events in laboratory, range, or simulated operational environments

  • Knowledge of space-to-tactical downlinks, national-to-tactical intelligence capabilities, Space Domain Awareness, or overhead persistent sensors

  • Knowledge of Joint Targeting cycles, Over-the-Horizon Targeting (OTH-T) architectures, and the kill chain elements required to support Long-Range Fires (LRF).

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Systems Management field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Project Overmatch, Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) initiatives, and Joint Targeting systems

  • Experience working on software systems leveraging DevSecOps pipelines, containerization, including Kubernetes or Docker, and AWS cloud infrastructures

  • Experience with Navy, Space Force, Army, or Air Force Joint Fires, including operating in a Combat Information Center (CIC) or Maritime Operations Center (MOC)

  • Knowledge of tactical data links, including Link 16 or CDL, message formats, and machine learning and fusion algorithms

  • TS/SCI clearance

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
