Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): This position will aid the Athletic Performance staff in facilitating training sessions for varsity athletics. This includes demonstrating exercises and monitoring athlete performance for proper technique and safety.  

Transferable Skills: 

Public speaking, long & short term planning, time management, interpersonal skills and professionalism.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Assist the lead performance coach in coaching & demonstrating designated exercises. Learning & leading warm-up protocols, monitoring performance data, ensuring a clean and safe environment for training. 

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills) 

Preferred CPR & AED Certification

Physical and Environmental Factors:

This position requires crouching, kneeling/crawling, stooping, twisting/pivoting, climbing/balancing, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, and lifting and carrying objects up to 50 lbs. to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to loud noise, chemicals, and proximity hazards to perform the essential functions. Candidates must possess the ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
