Position: Assistant Wrestling Coach
Season: Winter 26-27
Pay: Stipends are paid in accordance with the Teacher Labor Agreement, Appendix C
Overview:
The assistant coach is responsible for supporting the head coach in all aspects of running the program including try-outs, team selection, practices, games, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) is required.
  • Strong background in and understanding of the specific sport.
  • Successful coaching experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in building a comprehensive program, developing staff, and managing diverse program-wide elements in accordance with the school mission and vision.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the commitment to develop and maintain positive relationships between the program and the local community.
  • Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior.
  • Positive, high energy, and committed.
  • Partners well with parents, staff, community leaders, etc.
