Job Title: Lead Water Restoration Technician
Location: Lehigh Valley, PA (In-Person Role)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $16.00 – $32.00 per hour (Based on experience and certifications)

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Lead Water Restoration Technician to manage on-site mitigation services, communicate with customers and insurance partners, and supervise a growing team. This is a field-based position that requires rotating on-call/emergency response availability, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver a high level of service during times of crisis.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead water damage mitigation services at residential and commercial sites

  • Conduct walk-throughs and clearly explain mitigation processes to customers

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners and insurance agents

  • Secure required documentation (e.g., signed work authorization, COS) before work begins

  • Prepare job estimates using software (e.g., Xactimate)

  • Document all work through moisture logs, photos, and software tools

  • Maintain a clean and organized job site, vehicle, and equipment

  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians

  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and RestoPros protocols

  • Collaborate with the owner to improve operational efficiency as we grow


Qualifications
  • Required:

    • 1+ year of experience in water mitigation or property restoration

    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

    • Strong communication and customer service skills

    • Ability to work independently and lead others

    • Willingness to be on-call for emergency response

    • Ability to pass a background check

  • Preferred:

    • 2+ years of relevant restoration or construction experience

    • IICRC-WRT certification

    • Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating software

    • Proficiency with moisture mapping, drying logs, and job documentation


Physical Requirements
  • Regularly lift 50–100 lbs (with assistance as needed)

  • Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and on ladders

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
