What is a per diem temporary?

Per diem temporary jobs are short-term positions where employees are hired to work on an as-needed basis, rather than following a regular schedule. These roles are common in fields like healthcare, education, and event staffing, where organizations need flexibility to cover shifts or handle increased demand. Per diem workers are typically paid a daily or hourly rate and may not receive benefits such as health insurance or paid time off. The flexibility offered by these positions can be ideal for individuals seeking to supplement their income or maintain a work-life balance.

Per Diem Temporary roles offer a high degree of scheduling flexibility, as shifts are generally assigned based on immediate organizational needs and employee availability.
