ARE YOU AVAILABLE TO COME AND SUPPORT OUR CRITICAL ACCESS HOSPITAL IN BANDON OREGON ON OCCASIONAL NEEDS?
Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center (SCHHC) is a Critical Access Hospital in Bandon Oregon. Our mission is "Quality healthcare with a personal touch".

SCHHC has Per-Diem openings for RNs in our Med/Surg Department. Highlights of the positions include a manageable workload, a supportive nursing culture, market-competitive wages, and shift differential. Each RN is a valued member of the clinical team who coordinates and implements patient care. The RN is empowered to be a part of multidisciplinary communications to ensure that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with SCHHC standards of care. RNs demonstrate performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization. Candidates should be flexible to changing systems, demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice, and treats staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect. The RN is supervised by the Charge Nurse and reports to the Med Surg Manager.


Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, required.
  • Current RN license in Oregon, required.
  • Have and maintain Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Minimum of one year nursing experience, required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, and computer proficiency specifically in Microsoft Office and online software.

Employment with Southern Coos Hospital is contingent upon an acceptable pre-employment drug screening and background check.
