Job description

About the Job
Mars Men is one of the fastest growing DTC brands in the US, achieving $100M run rate in less then 18 months. Recently backed by L Catterton, Mars Men is positioned to become the leading men's health brand in the supplement space. We operate across DTC, retail, and emerging channels, and are entering our next phase of growth as we continue scaling the business.
We're looking for a highly organized, proactive Paralegal to serve as the operational backbone of our legal function. This person will project manage legal matters across the business, maintain visibility into priorities and deadlines, and serve as the primary communications lead between our internal teams and outside counsel.
You'll own the day-to-day coordination of legal projects from intake through completion, ensuring the right people are involved, deadlines are met, and nothing falls through the cracks. This role is ideal for someone who understands legal processes, communicates effectively with attorneys and business leaders, and can bring structure and accountability to a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Own and maintain the company-wide legal project tracker, including priorities, owners, deadlines, status updates, and next steps
  • Project manage legal matters from initial intake through completion, proactively following up on open items and keeping workstreams moving
  • Serve as the primary communications lead for legal matters across internal teams, leadership, and outside counsel
  • Organize legal requests, consolidate feedback, coordinate responses, and ensure clear communication and handoffs between stakeholders
  • Coordinate contract reviews, corporate matters, employment matters, intellectual property, compliance projects, disputes, and other legal workstreams
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain agreements, legal correspondence, corporate records, and supporting documentation
  • Build and improve legal processes, systems, and SOPs to increase efficiency, visibility, and accountability across the business

Must-Have Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal operations professional, legal project manager, or in a similar role
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple legal matters, stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with attorneys, executives, and cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong ownership, follow-through, and attention to deadlines
  • Experience working with contracts, legal correspondence, corporate documents, and other legal materials
  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and identifying what needs to happen next without waiting for direction

Life at Mars Men
  • Competitive Compensation - We offer a strong salary and benefits package, tailored to attract top talent
  • Remote Work Environment - Our team is remote, offering full flexibility to work from home
  • Autonomy & Ownership - You'll have the freedom to run your own systems and make real impact
  • Time Off - 15 PTO days per year (prorated), 9 company holidays, plus your birthday off
  • Parental Leave - Generous paid parental leave for growing families
  • Health Benefits - 100% premium coverage for health, dental, and vision plans, with 25% coverage for dependents
  • 401(k) - Company-sponsored plan with a 2% match through Guideline (elective participation)
  • $200 Annual Superpower Membership
  • Growth & Development - We invest in your professional development with ongoing learning opportunities
