Job Title

Per Diem Radiology Ambulatory Reception Coordinator

Job Description

The Per Diem Radiology Ambulatory Reception Coordinator provides exceptional customer service to patients and visitors as the first point of contact in the Radiology Department. We have evening shifts available, Monday-Friday, and occasional weekend shifts.

This position schedules appointments and verifies insurance for all radiology patients, and performs clerical and receptionist functions in the Radiology Department, including preparation and maintenance of patient records, and serving as a resource to medical staff regarding hospital protocols. This role is the link between staff, patients, families, and care providers, and between the unit and other hospital departments.

Work Schedule:

  • Day shifts, Monday-Friday

Required Qualifications:

  • One year of clerical, scheduling, and/or customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in a healthcare field.
  • Experience scheduling radiologic appointments for various modalities including CT, Ultrasound, DEXA, and General Diagnostics.
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting.
  • One year of Epic electronic medical record system experience.

Additional Information:This is a non-union per diem (0 set hours per pay period) day position working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $20.13-$30.19 per hour, based on experience and internal equity. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and not eligible for benefits. We offer an onsite employee fitness center and an onsite employee clinic to make it more convenient for our staff to get the care they need, and have a Center for Employee Resilience that provides support and evidence-based practices to bring relief and build resiliency.
