About the Job

Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is currently seeking an experienced Primary Care Veterinarian to join our highly collaborative and client-focused Primary Care Department. With over 12 veterinarians and more than 40 veterinary technicians and assistants (including VTSs), our Primary Care team is one of the largest and most advanced in the Tri-State Area. This is an excellent opportunity for a patient-centered doctor with strong communication skills to contribute to a non-corporate, specialty-integrated environment that supports growth, flexibility, and quality medicine.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical care and wellness services to canine and feline patients
  • Perform routine exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and home care
  • Collaborate with a skilled support team of technicians, assistants, and front desk staff
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in EMRs
  • Participate in departmental rounds and case discussions as applicable

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree
  • Active New Jersey veterinary license (or eligible for licensure)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of general practice experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and client communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed in a busy clinical setting
