Provide medical evaluation and treatment of all patients in an efficient, professional and thorough manner.

Sturdy Health is seeking a Per Diem Neurologist to join our well-established and successful community hospital system in Attleboro, MA.

Our hospital and ambulatory practices provide multidisciplinary medical care and outpatient laboratory services in close proximity to the communities we serve. We are committed to providing the highest quality health care to patients of all ages. With convenient office hours and quick access to major highways, it is easy for our patients to get quality health care locally.

About the job:

  • The responsibility of this position is primarily to provide inpatient and emergency care of neurologic patients roughly one weekend per month at Sturdy Memorial Hospital
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with neurological disorders working closely with hospitalists and other providers with different sub-specialty training and interests
  • Weekend call coverage includes Friday through Sunday, or option for Saturday through Sunday
  • Responsible for rounding once per day and responding to initial consults within 24 hours while on call
  • Weekend call volume estimated at 5-15 new consults

Requirements:

  • Availability to cover an average of one weekend per month
  • BE/BC Neurology
  • Current medical license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or ability to obtain
  • Dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our communities

The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value Sturdy Health's benefits package (if applicable), which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
