Overview

Per diem Pediatric Hospitalist needed in Dothan AL!!!

Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL.

  • Rounding with out of house call from home
  • ASAP Start up to 15 shifts per month
  • Coverage Includes:
    • 6-bed inpatient pediatric floor
    • ED consults
    • Newborn couplet care (with NNP support)
    • No nursery call or rounds; NICU coverage is separate
  • Subspecialty Support:
    • Pediatric Pulmonology, Endocrinology, and Cardiology on-site
    • Pediatric Ortho and Surgery (adult)
    • Access to UAB subspecialists for consults
Qualifications
  • BC Pediatrics
  • AL license required or IMLC
  • Minimum 1 Year experience
Benefits and Compensation

Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. This position is W-2.
