A rapidly growing, employee-owned construction organization is expanding its accounting team and seeking a Project Accountant / Construction Accountant to support ongoing growth. Job Description:

The Project Accountant / Construction Accountant will be responsible for supporting the financial management of construction projects from initiation through completion. This role partners closely with project teams to monitor job costs, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely reporting. The ideal candidate is adaptable, eager to learn, and comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track project costs, budgets, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process customer billings, subcontractor invoices, and vendor payments.
  • Assist with job cost analysis, forecasting, and project reporting.
  • Reconcile project accounts and support month-end close activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and operational teams to resolve financial discrepancies and provide project insights.
