Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a per diem Radiology Technologist to work the day shift within the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Cath Lab at PMPH has been in operation since 1998. Currently, the Cardiac Cath Lab resides within the Main OR. The Cardiac Cath Lab performs over 500 procedures annually and is projected to increase this coming year. The Cardiac Cath Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to perform minimally invasive procedures ensuring optimal visuals during procedure and patient monitoring.
Scheduling Requirement:
  • Per diem, day shift.
  • Shifts are Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm.
  • On call requirement

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, IVUS, hemodynamic monitoring, ultrasound).
  • Scrub in cardiac invasive procedures.
  • Maintain aseptic technique.
  • Manage vascular access sites.
  • 24hr STEMI lab.

What We Require for this Role:
Education
  • Graduate of an accredited program required.

Related Work Experience
  • One year of Cardiac Cath experience required.
  • Two years of Cardiac Cath experience preferred.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
  • NJ state licensure/certification as a Radiology Technologist REQUIRED.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
  • Amer Registry Radiologic Tech (ARRT) preferred.
  • RCIS preferred.
