Job description

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate per diem Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will work one on one closely with individuals with behavioral health challenges in a natural setting - home, school and community. Will provide behaviorally based interventions and support from treatment and behavioral plans.
Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed professional.
  • Utilize behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress, ensuring accurate medical documentation.
  • Maintain organized medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in medication administration as needed, following all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to support the client's behavioral health needs.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in special education and behavioral health.

Experience
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate required - will obtain upon hire.
  • BA degree in counseling, social work, or related field of study preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services preferred.
