Pre-Sell Account Manager Overview

Orders product, gains distribution on new products, and ensures merchandising standards are being met in all small format accounts.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Develops all assigned accounts relative to sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service
  • Takes inventory and places orders for future delivery to avoid out-of-stocks and reduction of out-of-date product.
  • Rotates products, cleans shelving, and stocks product from the store's backroom onto the shelves and displays in coolers and vending equipment.
  • Sells and executes promotions, solicits placement of equipment and sells sufficient product inventory.
  • Provides excellent service to assigned accounts; creates and maintains goodwill with all customers.
  • Builds displays and participates with store resets to stimulate sales.
  • Creates and utilizes point of sale signage.
  • Completes required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner maintaining legibility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • One (1) year of sales experience in the beverage industry preferred.
  • Must be able to perform basic financial calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications.
  • Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
