Position Overview

Pepsi MidAmerica is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven, and self-disciplined Professional Sales Manager to join our sales leadership team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead personnel, develop sales strategies, strengthen customer partnerships, and drive business growth throughout the Mount Vernon and surrounding area markets.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and leader with a passion for sales, team development, and customer service excellence.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop team members
  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • Evaluate employee attendance, performance, and professional growth
  • Monitor employee training progress and coordinate ongoing development opportunities
  • Foster a positive, performance-driven team environment
Sales & Customer Relations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Store Managers and customers
  • Ensure all accounts are serviced according to Pepsi MidAmerica standards and policies
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert competitor accounts
  • Develop and maintain customer contact lists and follow-up communications
  • Meet and exceed customer service and sales expectations
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and sales agreements with customers
  • Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and service offerings
Operational Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Analyze challenges and provide effective problem-solving solutions
  • Collaborate with departments across the Pepsi MidAmerica organization
  • Represent Pepsi MidAmerica professionally and positively at all times
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    (4+ years of management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, online research, and report preparation
  • Ability to travel and remain active throughout the workday as business demands
